Our SIMA®-Centered Coaching Program delivers results. You will learn how to keep yourself focused to create sustained "peak performance," by learning how to keep yourself "centered and grounded."
The program combines the benefits of in-depth reflection-using the SIMA® process-and on-going time-out to explore your immediate personal and business contexts. With eight face-to-face meetings, usually taking place over six months, you will discover how your motivation works, and how to keep yourself productive and effective by being thoroughly "centered and grounded." The coaching will help you identify your "sweet spot," then work with your coach to consistently deliver from that core place to create superior performance with superior satisfaction.
Overview of the Process
The First Session. The coaching process begins with an initial exploratory meeting in which you can express what is going on for you, experience the benefit of being listened to, and explore your current circumstances. During this session, you will be able to articulate what you really need from the coaching program and ensure you and your coach are fully aligned on securing the best outcome for you.
Telling Your Story. After the initial session, your coaching will begin in earnest as you take time to reflect back on your life experience to identify all those occasions when you have been fully engaged and motivated. This review becomes the basis for the diagnostic phase of the coaching program-indeed, the core of the SIMA®-Centered Coaching itself. You get to tell your story, in your way, with all those unique "twists and turns" that make you who you are. Your "stories" tell a deeper "story": each time you do something that you absolutely love, you approach it in your own distinctive way.
A Pattern of Behavior. Your achievement history has hidden within it a characteristic pattern of motivated behavior that gives you your distinctive edge. Your individual "stories:" show you at your best, and provide us with a basis on which to create a description of who you are and how you like to move. We call this pattern your Motivated Abilities Pattern (MAP®).
Your Personalized MAP® Report. We then create an extensive report, your SIMA®-Centered Report that describes your Motivated Abilities Pattern®. The report begins to explore how you might best leverage your strengths to be more effective, and how you might focus your development on those assignments and roles that will give you the best return on investing in them. The report will provide you with an enduring resource that you can use repeatedly at key decision points in your life.
Developing Confidence as a Leader. Though telling your story, you will begin to recognize the power of your particular motivation in your life, and discover that your uniqueness gives you a distinctive perspective on any issue or situation. Most importantly, you'll learn how you can bring both of those to the workplace to create real leadership presence.
Application to Real-Time Issues. During the span of the coaching (typically six months), you and your coach will work together on the immediate concerns that prompted your initial interest in the coaching program. Together, you will create appropriate development strategies that equip you both for your current role, as well as roles you might undertake in the future.
