Tim Cox

Tim Cox is a Senior Consultant with SIMA® International. He brings particular expertise to churches and parachurch ministries that have needs for executive search and the placement of leadership staff, pastoral succession planning, individual career development and guidance, and organizational effectiveness.

Tim has devoted his career to bringing leadership solutions for senior staff openings in strategic churches and nonprofit ministries nationwide. He has extensive training in the best practices of executive search and the use of SIMA® to effectively place pastors and executive directors in consultation with search committees, boards, and staff.

Tim brings 25 years of leadership experience in church ministry. Before joining SII, he was for 15 years a national consultant with a religious publishing company, speaking at conventions and workshops throughout the country.

Education:
• Bryan University, B.A. with double major in Christian education and Bible
• Southwestern Theological Seminary, M.A. in Christian education

I understand the value of a great "ministry fit" when hiring a new staff member. I also understand the tremendous loss of momentum, time, and ministry resources that result when the wrong person is hired. That's why my bedrock commitment throughout the search process is to find the right person for the right job at the right time.
