Tony Kroening

Tony Kroening is a Managing Director of SIMA® International. His practice focuses on retained executive search for the corporate sector.

Tony's broad experience in the retained search process allows him to balance the unique professional needs of the corporate client with the personal and professional goals of the qualified job candidate.

Prior to joining SII, Tony spent more than 11 years as the owner and managing partner of a successful corporate retained search firm of 20 partners. His experience in search ranges from publicly held corporations such as Entegris and Digi International, to larger privately held companies such as Cirrus Design Corp. and Bi-Phase Technology, a subsidiary of Schwan's Technology. Overall, he has conducted nearly a hundred retained placements. He has also trained and mentored more than 25 search consultants to partner status, while coaching numerous individuals in their own career transitions and development.

Tony is quite active in Minneapolis-area nonprofit organizations, and serves on boards and leadership teams for Youth Works, Inc., Table Project, Oakwood Community Church, and Treehouse.
