Kim Looby

Kim Looby is a Senior Consultant with SIMA® International. Her practice focuses on executive search.

Now in her fourth year with SI, Kim brings significant experience in nonprofit fundraising, board development, strategic planning, mergers and joint ventures, marketing, and staff development.

Prior to joining SI, Kim served for fifteen years in management with the YMCA, both at the large metropolitan and national levels. She was the executive director of a $4.5 million YMCA with a staff of more than 200. Later she became a national consultant for YMCA/USA, a position that allowed her to consult with CEOs and their boards on operational performance and organization succession planning. In that role, she conducted a number of CEO searches, transition workshops, and board development events for staff and volunteer teams.

Along with her experience with the Y, Kim brings solid experience in hospital administration and business development within the healthcare arena.

Kim is a very active participant in her community, having being recognized by Rotary International as a Paul Harris Fellow. She has served on the Brentwood Chamber of Commerce Board, the Rape Crisis Board, the Advisory Council for the Girl Scouts, Youth Leadership Brentwood Board (Chair), Leadership Brentwood, and the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. She has also served in numerous capacities at her children's school and in her church.
