I first found out about SIMA when my Pastor, Brian Wilson had the process introduced to him at a Leadership Summit in Ames, Iowa Chris Styring organized to assess Brian.  When I read Brian's MAP feedback, I felt compelled to look further into SIMA. Brian arranged for me to be trained by Chris in Sydney and this happened in 2007. The practice workshop at the training convinced me that every human being has a MAP and if they were assessed, it could unlock a tremendous amount of meaning in their life. Patterns will always emerge - stay true to the stories and mark the patterns. I have only interviewed 16 people. I thoroughly enjoy seeing people celebrating their very person, when their patterns are revealed during the feedback session. By revealing the patterns, some clients have attempted a new job path and with great satisfaction. I have also had the privilege of assessing married couples. Their MAP has helped them to celebrate their complementarity as well as reducing potential frustrations! I have predominantly used the SIMA process in my local church setting and as the church network extends, there is great opportunity to break into church networks in the UK which I'm very excited about! Thank goodness for Skype! SIMA has allowed believers in my church to be channeled into significant ministries within our global network. The church I belong to is called The Crowded House, Tasmania. Being a SIMA consultant fully satisfies my MAP - making it right, doing it right; gaining a response, and using direct leadership, working conceptually. I also love the one-to-one engagement the process allows, forming great friendships over the years. I look forward to seeing how the SIMA community thrives in the next 50 years! Long live SIMA!
